Teena is a speech therapist with 22 years experience in a wide variety of settings. She has worked in public primary schools, specialized preschools, provided home based services and specialized in programming for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder for a number of years. After noticing the journey many parents faced when their child was diagnosed with a communication difficulty, she embarked on a Doctorate of Psychology degree and is certified and licensed by the Council for Professionals Allied with Medicine (CPAM) to provide both speech and counselling services in Cayman. Dr. Teena has previous experience in Cayman and is thrilled to return to the island, the culture and the people of Cayman to provide support to children and their families.
Trisha is a speech therapist with 11 years experience working with children with a wide range of needs. She has worked with children ranging in age from young preschool to school age, both individually and in groups. She has a special interest in providing whole family support and has developed a style that allows her to support children on a holistic level to meet more of their needs. As a Caymanian, she posses excellent knowledge of the services available and has fostered a strong working relationship with a variety of professionals in the healthcare field. Trisha maintains certification with both the Council for Professionals Allied with Medicine (CPAM) and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in the United States. Trisha is grateful and proud to give back to her Cayman Community through her services and we could not be more proud of her as a young Caymanian supporting the youth of the islands.
